 About Rosegal

Rosegal is a Vintage Fashion shop with a big variety of beautiful vintage clothing. They kindly offered me to review a piece of clothing of choice, and I decided to go with this pretty floral print knit sweater. I love knits and I just can't have enough of them!

This thin and flowy knit sweater gives off a very romantic feeling but because of the see-through it also gives you a hint of sexiness. The main color is beige with a very pretty peach/orange-colored rose pattern. The other main details are the ripped areas located at the bottom of the sweater and the sleeves.

I would say that this is an oversize sweater but because I'm pretty curvy I decided to pin it at my waist to make it suit my body type better.

The first of the two pictures below show the bottom part of the back of the sweater and the second one shows the bottom front.

I love this sweater since it's very simple and causal, yet romantic, depending on what you decide to match it with. It will look awesome with both a pair of shorts or a skirt - heels or flats. It's completely up to you! However, It's a bit too thin to wear in the cold Swedish weather, but it will be perfect for spring and summer. It's a very good item to have and I can't wait to try out more from Rosegal!

KOKOkim Spring/Summer Collection 2014

Wednesday, January 22, 2014

I've been completely in love with KOKOkim ever since I first found out about it. I made a post about their first collection, KOKOkim x GLAD NEWS, and I'm happy to say that they are launching a new collection that will be available in April (right now they're available for pre-order only).

The shoes and the bag are just sooo pretty! I would love to have the shoes in black and the bag in lavender. They're simply perfect!

I love the style of these clothes, especially the sweet pastel color combinations. Which one is your favorite?

Design

The design is simply perfect in my opinion. I love the subtle but still noticeable timbal ring, and I like how the inner part blends perfectly with my natural iris. Except for the color difference, it's hard to tell where the lens starts and my natural iris begins, which is good! All of these traits make these lenses look relatively natural.

Color

These lenses have a gorgeous light gray color. The color shows up very nicely even though they are a bit sheer, which is one of the only things that bugs me a bit. You can see the edge of your natural iris up close, but it doesn't really show at all in real life. These will most likely look better on lighter eyes, like blue or gray ones.

Comfort

This part is starting to feel a bit pointless since I'm going say the same thing I always do anyways - They're very comfortable! I could wear them for several hours without any kind of irritation. To be honest, I hardly ever feel any difference at all when it comes to comfort in wearing lenses. They all feel the same to me nowadays!

Enlargement

The enlargement is very good, but there are many other lenses that can give you better enlargement. But like I said, still very good!

Overall Opinion

The color is simply gorgeous and I love how well they blend with my natural iris, which makes them look relatively natural. And on top of that they are also 14.8mm which makes my eyes looks huge! Can it get any better? They are definitely suitable for both natural and heavier makeup looks. I'm really into gray and light blue contacts right now, but I'm curious about trying these in other colors too. What do you think about them?

FACE Stockholm Cosme Gets

Sunday, January 19, 2014

Hello, lovelies~! I've been in Stockholm to work for the past few days and I stopped by at FACE Stockholm to pick up some products before a Photoshoot. The more I use the products from FACE Stockholm the more I love them. I think of myself as very lucky for being able to work with these products and the amazing people behind them. Talking about amazing people, I also had the pleasure to meet one of my favorite ladies again, Gun Nowak - The founder of FACE Stockholm and sweetest lady I've ever met.

Anyhow, let me tell you a bit more about the products I got this time.

Lipsticks & Lipgloss

First of up are these gorgeous lipsticks. I've pretty much always and only used pink shades before but I'm completely in love with these orange and red shades.

The lipsticks themselves are simply amazing! The shades are just too gorgeous and they stay on forever. Seduction, Citrus & Matte Ginger are my new favorites. Love!

Shades from left to right, top to bottom: Seduction, Citrus, Grace, Please, Matte Sangria, Matte Orange, Hibiscus, Matte Ginger, Lipgloss #17

Eyeshadows & Blush

Matte Eyeshadow Palette 1 (Not in order): Sophisticated, Umbria, Hazelnut, Brunögd, Russian Caviar, Ljusgrå, Black, White (I forgot the name of two of them. I'll update when I figured it out)
Matte Eyeshadow Palette 2: Treasure, Unforgettable, Stubborn, Noisy, Demanding, Christo, Surprise, Njutbar, Baby Pink & Angel Pink
Blush Palette: Rosa, Organza, Willing (I think) & Personality

I got a whole lot of eyeshadows! I use a lot of neutral tones which is why I naturally got a whole palette including these pretty shades. However, I'm planning to use more colors for when I work, especially for this year's Melodifestivalen, which is why me and Gun put together this crazy color palette too.

Some more stuff! I originally wanted the purple and pink eyeshadow in the color palette, but they weren't available in pan format at the time.

Unfortunately, we were in such a hurry to the Photoshoot that I didn't have time to pick up everything I was supposed to get this time, especially a lot of new products from their summer collection - Like the cream eyeshadows (which I only got one of) for example. I guess I'll just have to stop by again next time.

Product names, from left to right: Brow Shadow in Björk & Myrrah, Nail Polish in #50, Highlighter in Radiance, Crème Blush in Rio, Pearl Shadow in #8 & #35, Cream Eye Shadow in Linne, Highlighter in Destiny, Matte Eyeshadow in Praise & Breathless

That's it for now, lovelies. Bye bye!

My Christmas and New Year's Eve 2013

Friday, January 10, 2014

Hello Lovelies! I hope that all of you had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year

It's been a while since I last made a post; let me catch up with you by telling you about my Christmas, New Year's Eve this year and pretty much everything I've been up to during these Holidays.

Christmas

I spent Christmas at home together with my family - the common and traditional Swedish way. Watching
From All of Us to All of You, having dinner with family, playing the 'Absolute Christmas' CD on repeat,  and opening presents!

In the picture to the left you can see m
e and my younger sister, all dressed up for Christmas. The last time we took a picture together was when we were like 8 and 4 years old, so I'm glad that we finally have a nice picture of only us two together. A lot of people actually tell us that she looks like the older one - Do you think so too?

I'm also very curious about how you guys celebrate Christmas, especially if you live anywhere else than Sweden. What kind of traditions do you have? What do you eat? Do you celebrate another holiday instead of Christmas? Tell me about it in the comments!

Pictures below are a close up of the look I had on Christmas and our little Christmas corner.

Now, let's get to one of the best parts about Christmas (except for spending time with your family and eating good food) - The presents! This is what I got this year:

I finally have a PS3! I actually didn't expect to get one since I was thinking of getting it myself, so it was definitely a very nice surprise gift. I also got a whole lot of beauty products! Skin care, hair care, perfume, body lotion - you name it! I actually got a lot more stuff but to be honest I was too lazy to take it all out since I had already put it neatly into my Makeup Drawer.

I had been waiting for this perfume to be launched in Sweden for so long and since it came out so close to Christmas I thought that I as well could just put it on my wish list. I really wanted the big bottle but since it was sold out I got two of these 30ml ones instead. I really love it and it's my new favorite, sharing first place with Pink Friday.

I got a GLOSSYBOX and a Mini Volume Iron. The Flat & Curling Iron was actually a gift I bought for myself.

My dear friend Zakkary came to visit me a couple of days after Christmas, and he got me all of these super cute gifts.  Other than all of these amazing gifts I also got what pretty much everyone gets for Christmas, which also is one of my favorite things to receive - Cash! What did you get for Christmas?

We went both skiing and ice skating during the Holidays. I really love skiing but It has actually been many years since I last did it. This was the first time I went skiing this season but I'll definitely go again as soon as possible.

New Year's Eve

On New Year's Eve me and Zakkary went to Stockholm together to celebrate with my friends.

We started off by having an amazing dinner at Mio's place together with a few friends and later on we went to another friend's party.

In the picture to left you can see Line, Zakkary, Me & Rickard (creeping in the background). This would've been a perfect shot if Mio had been in it, haha! But naturally we only took derpy pictures together and I think it's for the best if I spare you the sight of them

Anyhow, things got a bit crazy like they usually get at parties like these, but we had a lot of fun!

We had a really good view of the fireworks and I was able to take some pretty nice shots (if I may say so myself). It was magical!

The next day we had dinner at Ramen Ki-mama and coffee at the newly opened Starbucks in Stockholm!

And at last but not least - A picture of me and Zakkary on his last day of vacation here in Sweden.

This Christmas and New Year's Eve was very eventful and It was definitely one of the best ones so far!

I really had so much fun during the past two weeks and I hope that all of you enjoyed your Holidays as much as I did. I wish you all the best for the year of 2014.

Bye for now, lovelies~
