Etude House has become one of my favorite Makeup brands, and I recently purchased a lot of new products from them. This is the first time I try out their lipsticks, and I decided to review both of them in one post so it's easier to compare them and actually see the difference. Keep reading if you want to know more about what I think of them!
Packaging & DesignOne thing that I absolutely love about Etude House is that their products always look amazingly pretty! The design of this lipstick is so cute! It's pretty simple but the details really make a difference. Even the lipstick bullet has a small engraving on it (should've taken a close-up picture of it).
To be honest It's a lot more fun to use and simply own/collect Makeup when the products are this pretty.
ColorBoth of the colors are gorgeous, and they're very true to Etude House's official pictures. Very opaque and show up great even on bare lips. PK007 is a soft, rosy/dusty pink. Looks more natural. PK009 is a vivid, light pink with a slightly bluish hue.
Texture & LastabilityVery smooth and creamy, almost like a lip balm. It leaves a nice glossy finish and feels light on the lips, not heavy or sticky at all. Lasts quite well and even when it starts wearing off it sort of blends into your lips and doesn't leave any unflattering 'streaks'.
OverallI usually prefer pink lipsticks with a bluish hue like PK009, but in this case I must say that I prefer PK007. Of course, I love both of them, but since I usually only wear very bright and vivid colors on my lips I'm just so glad that I finally found a soft and natural looking pink lipstick that I actually like.
I don't have much more to say since I honestly like every single thing about these lipsticks. The color, texture and packaging is just perfect. In the past I didn't pay much attention to texture when it comes to lipsticks, but the quality is really outstanding. I really want to get them in every color now!
Stay tuned for more reviews of Etude House's products. Bye for now!
